WHAT IS THE WORLD'S PERCEPTION FOR ARTWORKS?
The public tends to receive innovative artwork with reservation because it usually has little context, historical or otherwise, in which to view it. It is not easy to appreciate, let alone value, what is not understood. However, public tends to depreciate their value toward artist's artworks because some artists are not clear enough to the world to be understood. For example, the work of Edouard Manet on page 43 fig 47 give a better explanation of how the world percieves arts.
Rahman, your question need to be more specific if you want to answer it in your lifetime:) You can either keep the question very general but answer it looking at some specific examples, or clarify - in the question "how does the world perceive art" make a decision - what "world" and what "art" you will be discussing. ReplyDeleteHi. I think that you should use a specific piece of atr and create a contrast of how two different groups of people percieve it differently. This is similar to what we did at the beginning of the class with the gates in the central park. Good luck on your proyect.
