*All of the media we have learned, are two-dimensional except perfomance of art.* Why should we turn to a discussion of three- dimensional media and their relation to the time and space we ourselves occupy?*
Sculpture has a broad resonance, but what it is strictly? By understanding this, i will be well-informed about motion. Because the sculpture possesses an temporal dimension. Though, motion is going to be a crucial and vital element in the discussion.* The most interesting thing about the book, it's the fact that it gives details about what the sculpture possesses, and Serra explains, is what differentiates the experience of the sculptures from daily life experience. * I will go online, and try to google some references about my subject. * i know everybody has the liberty of thinking. Opinions may diverge which i totally understand, but i strongly believe have correct approach. * Egyptians, who often decorated the walls of their temples and burial complexes with intricate raised relief sculpture, and the arch of Titus in Rome. These are relevant because they illustrate reality in certain dimension.* The medium that I am thinking about for my work, it is marble. The quintessence it gives to an artwork, it is simply matchless.
I don't understand what is your "*" means?
